With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Wickliffe Blue Devils

2018 Record: 8-13
Conference Record: Chagrin Valley Conference, 2-10
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/3

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Nice Kids That Work Hard

Coach Outlook: "Although we return many players from a very young team last season, we are still inexperienced. We return only three pitchers and only 2 pitching wins from last year's team."

PBR Outlook: Coach Phil Motta has a good amount of players back from the 2018 team that are young and hungry to get the 2019 season underway.
