Winter Schedule Released

I am pleased to announce our winter schedule of events; this is the most aggressive winter schedule that we have attempted in our operation. Our aggressive schedule, is an attempt to see as many players as possible for the high school season begins, so we can see what gains players have made through their hard work in November and December.

Video Analysis Camps

December 10^th and 11th

I receive emails and phone calls on a regular basis asking questions about, evualations and what I see that a player can clean up to improve his game. This event allows me to evaluate and explain what, my staff sees and how each player can fix it. We are excited that the Arkansas Prospects have opened their doors to us this week end and will be hosted the event at Balls-N-Strikes in Central Arkansas.

Open Showcases

January

We are offering 5 open showcase throughout the state. Our first event is the Northwest Arkansas Showcase, hosted by Perfect Timing in their Springdale location, the second event focuses on the 2020 graduates and will be hosted by the Arkansas Prospects. The Central Arkansas Open Showcase will be hosted by Extra Innings Little Rock on January 22^nd, followed by Southwest Arkansas Showcase hosted by Southern Athletic Baseball Academy in Texarkana TX. This event will be a dual state event with PBR Texas hosting Northeast Texas Open Showcase on the same day. January 29^th we will be at Monticello High School with the Southeast Open Showcase. We are looking to add a Northeast Arkansas Showcase, that time and date will be announced as soon as possible. All events will be moved outdoors if the weather permits. We schedule an indoor facility as worst case scenario.

Unsigned Senior Showcase

February 12^th, 2017

This event has been moved back to Sunday February 12^th, to give as many players the time necessary to be at maximum performance. There will be a 30 minute recruiting seminar during this event as well as an opportunity to talk with PBR staff about moving forward in the recruiting process, we will get our scout notes to 5 colleges of your choice post event. Please register as soon as possible for this event as we want to promote this event to as many colleges as possible.

After our winter schedule is complete we will overhaul all class ranking including the initial 2020 rankings. We also will begin to work on our 2017 Futures Games roster, as we are combining with PBR Louisiana to take a team to Grand Park Indiana, in early August.  2018 C Andrew Stanley ( Arkansas commit) and 2018 LHP Kaleb Hill (Ole Miss commit) competed for Team Select in 2016 as two of the best uncommitted players from Arkansas, we hope to send a talented group to compete in front of 200 college scouts in 2017. As always we hope these players have similar results in the recruiting process that the 2016 players had.
