Ricky Alfonso, an athletic left-handed hitting OF from Barrington HS, has committed to Indiana University. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Alfonso does everything on the field well. Offensively, he has a clean left-handed swing and solid fundamental approach. As a junior, Alfonso batted .317 with 29 RBI and 12 stolen bases for the Broncos. ?

Brent Minta, a C/RHP/OF from Aurora Christian HS, has committed to Taylor University in Indiana. Minta earned Suburban Christian All-Conference honors as a junior.

Jesse Katz, a RHP from Deerfield HS, has committed to the University of Illinois-Springfield.
