No. 3 Parkway South (18-0) remained unbeaten as they defeated conference rival No. 7 Oakville (14-3) 15-5 in a high-intensity game.
 
No. 21 Fort Zumwalt North (12-5) picked up two wins on Friday, as they trounced Gateway Tech 19-0 and pulled out a 6-3 win over Timberland.
 
No. 18 John Burroughs (12-1) stayed hot with an 8-3 win on the road against Clayton
 
Francis Howell Central (15-4) defeated Fort Zumwalt West, 7-2.
 
No. 2 Francis Howell (19-2) run-ruled Troy Buchanan, 15-5.
 
Holt picked up a 10-9 road win over Francis Howell North
 
No. 19 Borgia (13-2) dropped visiting Union, 6-5.
 
Pacific (13-2) hammered Festus 10-0, as starter Jose Moore fired a one-hitter in which he fanned 15.
 
No. 8 CBC (13-3) defeated Triad, the No. 23 team in Illinois, 11-9.
 
Farmington (13-1) dominated in both of their games on Friday, in the opening day of the Midwest Classic Wooden Bat Tournament. In Game 1, they hammered the Normandy Vikings 17-0 in five innings and then defeated the Herculaneum Blackcats 10-0 in six innings in their second game.
 
Stafford (11-6) crushed Marionville, 17-3. Conner Wilson took the mound for the first time since March 2010 after recovering from shoulder surgery. At the plate, he is hitting .480 with seven home runs and 29 RBI. Chris Berry, a Drury University signee, is hitting .524 with 3 HR and 27 RBI, and is 2-1 with a 1.88 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 22 innings on the hill.
