The Missouri State High School Activities Association Board of Directors voted Saturday to move the championships from Meador Park in Springfield to T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon for a four-year period beginning in 2012.

The move to T.R. Hughes Ballpark will be the first time the chmpionships will be held in St. Charles County, ending a four run in Springfield. Prior to Springfield's Meador Park, the championships were held at Taylor Stadium at the University of Missouri.

T.R. Hughes Ballpark was opened in 1999, and is currently the home of the River City Rascals of the Frontier League. The park has a capacity of 5,150.
