Elkhart put up 15 runs in the first three innings en route to the victory. EC pounded out 11 hits including homeruns from Adam Raifsnider, Ronnie Hawkins, and a grand slam from Pat Smith. Cory Malcom picked up the win going all five inning allowing six hits, he also doubled at the plate.
No. 11 Penn 7 Washington 6
Kyle Schneider picked up the win allowing just five hits in seven innings of work. Schneider and Max Andresen homered for Penn in the win. Alex Kohler doubled and homered in the loss for Washington.
No. 19 La Porte 11 Hammond Clark 1
Fishers 6 Kokomo 2
Tirro picked up the win going all seven innings allowing just three hits and no earned runs while striking out seven. J.P. Pena and Drew Clark both had two hits and scored a run, Pena also drove in two runs. Ant Roach added a solo homerun for Fishers.
Concord 8 SB Clay 4
Nick Wysong hit a grand slam for Concord and Alex Stiver picked up the win throwing five innings. Kyle Bates had a three run homerun for Clay.
St. Joe?s 5 Marian 4
Marian scored four in the top of the fourth to take a one run lead, but St. Joe?s tied it in the bottom of the frame. In the bottom of the seventh Neal Dowling singled to drive in the winning run. Dowling had three hits in the game, including a double, and Brad Hartman homered for St. Joe?s.
Plymouth 13 Knox 3
Damon Howe had a big day picking up the win on the mound, hitting two doubles, and hitting a homerun. Jacob Seagraves also homered for Plymouth.
Glenn 3 Elkhart Christian 2 F/9
Elkhart scored in the top of the ninth inning, but in the bottom they surrendered a run on a passed ball to tie. Sean Liedtky then drove in a run to pick up the victory, his second hit and second RBI of the day.
