Miles Quintal, who’s done nothing but win games at O’Fallon HS in his decorated four-year career, has committed to Lincoln College. Quintal helped lead the Panthers to a Class 4A third-place finish as a junior and to the supersectionals last spring. …

 

Dominick D’Agata, who earned PBR All-State honors in 2008 from Schaumburg HS, is now heading to Heartland CC. The left-handed hitting catcher was previously at Purdue University. … Heartland also landed Aaron Fink, a Class of 2011 catcher from Carbondale HS. The 6-foot, 175-pound Fink was one of the top performers at the PBR Southern Illinois Top Prospect Showcase recently.

 

Eastern Illinois landed two more prospects when it received commitments from West Chicago MIF Dane Sauer and Jacksonville OF Caleb Howell. Sauer and Howell join the Panthers’ strong class that includes Lincoln-Way West RHP Cody Vogler, Sandburg INF Brant Valach and North Clay RHP Andrew Grahn.
