More players pick their schools:

Nick Hedge, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound LHP from New Trier HS, has committed to the University of Pennsylvania. As a junior, Hedge posted an 8-1 record for the Trevians. Hedge is the second Penn recruit from Illinois, joining Aurora Christian OF/RHP Mitchell Holtz.

Another New Trier prospect picked his school when 1B Campbell Lipe committed to Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. Lipe is a strong-bodied 6-foot-3, 220-pound first baseman with big right-handed power potential.

Mitch Gasbarro, a slick-fielding middle infielder from Glenbard South HS, has committed to Eastern Illinois University.

Jack Anderson, a 6-foot-3 RHP from Fremd HS, has committed to Heartland CC.
