Jordan Hinton, C, Elkhart Memorial HS, 2011:  Hinton is a 6-foot-1 inch, 195 pound senior catcher for Elkhart Memorial, and also a member of the Michiana Scrappers summer team.  Hinton verbally committed to play at Adrian College to play for Coach Craig Rainey.

 

Rodney Bettcher, RHP, LaVille HS, 2011: Bettcher is currently ranked 38^th in his class.  He is a 6-foot-3 inch, 210 pound RHP from LaVille HS, and is also a member of the Michiana Scrappers.  Bettcher is big bodied pitcher with a strong arm.  His fastball is consistently 85-87 mph, and throws a curveball and changeup in the low to mid 70?s.  Last week Bettcher signed to play for Coach Todd Post at Kankakee Community College.

 

Gavin Gruzweski, 1B/OF, Gibson Southern HS, 2011:  Gruzweksi is a 6-foot-2 inch, 200 pound senior from Gibson Southern HS.  He shows the ability to play both 1B and OF.  Gruzweksi recently signed to play at Brescia University beginning fall 2011.

 

Andrew Maroni, LHP, Evansville Central HS, 2011: Maroni is currently the 30^th ranked player in his class.  The LHP stands in at 6-foot-2 inches and is currently coming off arm surgery.  His fastball sits at 81-85 mph, topping out at 86.  He shows a projectable body with a quick arm.  Maroni will play for Oakland University beginning fall 2011.
