Cody Libman, a 6-foot, 170-pound catcher from Glenbrook South HS, has committed to Northwestern University. Libman impressed at the Prep Baseball Report Top Prospect Showcase last June with his all-around strong catching abilities. ?

St. Joseph?s College landed two more prospects when it received commitments from Crystal Lake South INF Chris Hauser and West Chicago 1B Hunter Serrato. Hunter is the younger brother of Barrett Serrato, who?s now playing at Purdue. ? Last spring, Hauser batted .360 with 4 homers and 12 stolen bases for Crystal Lake South.

Nick Lumley, a 6-foot-1 LHP from Niles North HS, has committed to the University of Illinois-Springfield.

John Spoelstra, a LHP from Cary-Grove HS, has committed to Heartland CC. ?
