The 62nd ranked player in the class of 2011 is off the recruiting board.

 Sam Sweeden of Penn High School signed his letter of intent to play college baseball at Vincennes University.  Sweeden is a 6-foot-5 inch, 170 pound middle infielder who shows good defensive actions, with soft hands and a strong arm across the diamond (82 mph).  He impressed PBR running a 6.91 sixty during an event last summer.  At the plate, he demonstrates an athletic stance, a well balanced swing, and the ability to hit to all fields.  The Vincennes Blazers are coming off an impressive 2010 season, reaching the NJCAA Div. II World Series.
