Chris Godinez, an athletic middle infielder from Lake Forest HS, has committed to Bradley University. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Godinez, who possesses 6.7 speed and ultra-quick hands, was one of the hottest middle infield prospects this summer, culminating in earning All-Tournament Team honors at the 17U CABA World Series as he helped Top Tier win the national championship. …

Joey Pendolino, a strong-bodied catcher from Plainfield North HS, has committed to Olivet-Nazarene. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Pendolino was one of the top catchers at the Prep Baseball Report’s Top Prospect Showcase in June, displaying 1.95-2.05 pop times to go along with a powerful bat. …

Anthony Baldassano, a slick-fielding 3B from Nazareth Academy, has committed to Lewis University. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Baldassano is one of the best defensive third basemen in the state. Baldassano helped lead the Roadrunners to the summer state championship.
