Wet Recap from Tuesday, April 26



With Mother Nature defeating almost every high school baseball team over the past few days, there were limited games played on Tuesday.

Oakville, MO: No. 7 Oakville over Fox 9-2. Tim Chambliss led the offense going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Chad Gendron stayed hot on the mound picking up another victory, throwing a complete game, striking out seven and not walking a batter.

 

Sedalia, MO: The Sacred Heart Gremlins posted a come from behind victory 10-5 against Lincoln HS. Down 5-3, the Gremlins offense came alive with homeruns from Caleb Morrison and Rock Curry. Curry finished the game with two hits and five RBIs to lead the Gremlins offense. On the mound, Cale Spangler picked up the win allowing nine hits and striking out six.

 

Ballwin, MO: Parkway West defeated Kirkwood 4 to 1, behind a strong performance on the mound from Logan Hershenow. Hershenow went six innings, allowing no earned runs and striking out seven batters.  Cory Mullen had two RBIs for Parkway West, ad Matt Meyers smacked a solo homerun. Parkway South is now in the driver's seat in the Suburban South Conference.

 

""Clayton, MO: Whitfield sneaked past Clayton 9 to 8. Michael Webb led the Whitfield offense going 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBIs. Jordan Mandel (right) added an RBI, going 2-for-4. Mandel also picked up a two inning save, giving up no hits. Starting pitcher Trevir Ullman picked up the win, giving up three runs.
