Williard HS took home the Red Division championship on Saturday with an impressive 13-1 in five innings over host Glendale HS. The Tigers of Willard HS scored none runs in the third inning to break the game open. The Willard offense was led by seniors Lucas Peterson went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and three runs scored, and Bobby Hampton, who went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs.

This is the first championship for Willard in the fifteen years of the Red and Blue Classic.

In the Blue Division, Greenwood (AR) outlasted Ozark HS 11-7 in an eight inning game.  The Greenwood offense pounded out seventeen hits en route to victory.

Nixa and Kickapoo picked up wins to take third place their respective divisions.

In other action statewide,Ray-Pec pounded host Smith-Cotton 12-2 in the Skip Schulz/Midwest Baseball Tournament in five innings.

Morrisville HS defeated Skyline 12-5.
