5/15/18 - Florida recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds with a long, lean, athletic frame. DH’ed tonight out of the third spot and went 1-for-2 with a two-run single to left field along with three intentional walks. Above average bat speed with strong hands and has the ability to drive the ball anywhere on the field with pull-side power. Should be a high pick in the upcoming draft.

10/24/17- On the mound showed command to both sides of the plate with an 89-90 mph and a hard slider at 77-78 mph in his inning of work. Florida recruit.
10/16/17- Florida recruit. Long, loose, athletic build. At the plate has loose hands and hits out over his front foot. His long limbs create leverage and power potential. The swing generates easy power, but can also swing and miss.He is extremely athletic, running a 4.02 home to first. In centerfield he shows athleticism, an aggressive approach to the ball, and accurate throws to the bag with carry.  He did not pitch this weekend, but the arm works and is also very intriguing on the mound. 

7/10/17 - Named to Team USA 18U trials roster.
6/29/17 - Athletic 6-foot-4, 180-pound Florida recruit, is more known for his left-handed hitting prowess, but the he hopped on the mound and pitched two innings for United, running his fastball up to 92 mph, working mostly in the 87-90 range. He also mixed in a low-80s slider and changeup. Offensively, Scott went 1-for-3 with a single that registered a game-high 101.4 exit velocity through the left side.
03/07/17 - Florida recruit. Currently ranked No. 9 in the Florida 2018 Class, No. 21 Overall. Currently stands at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds with a lean, athletic, projectable build. Shows a quick first step and takes good routes to the ball while playing centerfield. At the plate Scott has an open stance with a high hand set and an aggressive approach with an uphill path through the zone from the left side. Uses all of the plate, doubled down the left field line on a ball on the outside corner of the plate against CJ Van Eyk. Also shows pull side pop, ability to drive the ball deep into right field. Also threw three innings on the mound where he displayed a quick arm throwing out of the ¾ arm slot with a fastball that sat 86-89 mph with movement, touching 90 a couple times along with a hard 74-76 mph slider that showed depth and late bite. Worked quickly and struck out four using his slider primarily with two strikes.

6/4/16- Florida recruit. Currently ranked No. 1 in the Florida 2018 class, No. 1 overall. Projectable, loose, athletic build on a 6-foot-4, 180 pound frame. Shows natural instincts, awareness, and plays with aggressiveness. Displays good actions. Relaxed and balanced at the plate with loose, quick hands in an upright stance. Smooth, easy swing with some loft and extension from the left hand side. Good plate discipline and can drive the ball with hard contact into the gaps. Ball jumps off the bat. Aggressive runner on the base paths with speed and long strides.
3/15/16- 6-foot-4, 180-pound Florida recruit with an athletic, lean, projectable body. At the plate had loose, quick hands with an easy, smooth swing from the left hand side with some loft and extension. Makes hard contact with the ability to drive the ball with authority. Aggressive on the base paths. High baseball IQ for his age. On the mound has loose, easy arm action out of the high ¾ arm slot. Works quickly and efficiently. Pounds the strike zone. During the game he sat 84-86 mph with his fastball that had tailing action, touching 87 mph a couple times. Plus curveball that sat 71-73 mph with good depth and spin, threw it for strikes. Most of the time lands on line and finishes well, can occasionally fall off to the side. High ceiling prospect that will continue to improve with added strength and maturity.
2/2/16- Easy 86-88 mph off the mound with a plus breaking ball. Ran a 4.04 down the line.
6/14/15- 6-foot-3 170 pounds with a lean, athletic, and projectable frame. Loose, over the top arm action from the outfield with an average ML arm. Upright and relaxed at the plate. Good separation for his load and throws his back hip when he transfers his weight. Easy swing with a nice plane. Line drives with gap power to all fields. Average to above average ML runner with long, loose strides. Up to 86-87 mph off the mound from the left side. Hits quality pitching everywhere and hit third in the lineup for Plant HS as a freshman with Kyle Tucker on the team. Easy, loose actions all over the field and his game will continue to improve with strength and maturity.
