St. Louis commit, currently ranked No. 16 in the Illinois’ 2023 class, No. 419 Nationally. 6-foot-2, 200-pound, broad-shouldered, athletically-built, left/left outfielder. One of the top left-handed hitters in the class. High-floor/high offensive ceiling; should only continue to get stronger and see his power numbers tick up over the coming years. Advanced approach, high-level feel for the barrel, loose, whippy hands, easy bat speed, natural whole field approach, covers the whole plate. Did damage all throughout this game with his biggest blow coming in the bottom of the 10th when he took a pitch in the middle of the plate and launched a no-doubt three run home run for a walk-off win. He finished 3-for-5 with two doubles, the home run, five RBIs and three walks. Impressive overall showing in a big moment for the talented senior.

Had two hits on the day, going 2-3 with two hard hit singles. Sets up in a wide, balanced stance, hands are held chest level with a vertical bat angle, loads into the back leg, and uses a heel raise to start the swing. Strong, quick hands, compact swing, able to drive the ball to all fields with a professional approach in the box.

Has seen his stock steadily climb over the past year and there is no slowing down. Is arguably one of, if not the best, pure left-handed hitters in the class. Advanced approach and polish at the plate. Sees the ball extremely deep into the zone, easy, quiet takes and minimal wasted effort. Flashes explosive hand speed, loose swing, stays inside the baseball and sprays hard line-drive, lifted contact to all parts of the field. Hit in the two-hole and finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored. Scorched one of his doubles off the very top of the left-field wall. Poised for a big offensive spring for the Trevians.

At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, Stressler uses his size to produce above-average bat and hand speed marks that allow him to tap into upside bat strength. His quiet, easy left-handed swing projects to continue connecting for quality contact as he progresses, now in his junior year.

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 51 in Illinois. 6-foot-1, 180-pound, strong-bodied, left-handed hitting outfielder. Started in right-field and hit in the seven-hole as a sophomore. Showed a knack for the barrel; finished 1-for-3 with a walk. Quiet, repeatable swing, loose, athletic hands, stays inside the baseball, feel for the barrel and lets the ball travel. Bat stays flat and through the zone a long time. Bat projects to fit in the middle of an order moving forward. Defensively, profiles at a corner outfield spot. High-follow left-handed bat in the ‘23 class.
