McHenry County JC commit, was strong in his brief start for the Porters on Friday afternoon. Korosa stands in at an imposing 6-foot-2, 216-pounds and is an athletic mover down the mound. Despite only two innings of work, Korosa used a steady dose of all three of his offerings throughout the game. His fastball sat 83-86 mph (T88) with arm-side run playing like a 2-seam. He mainly went to a slurve-type breaking ball as his out-pitch that induced whiffs and weak contact from opposing hitters. Korosa also tossed in a short arm-side fading changeup at 77-80 mph. The future Scot turned in a final line of: 2 IP, H, 0 BB, 0 R, 3 K; and will look to be the ace for the Porters throughout the spring.
