Brandon Hale: RHP/OF, (2023) Worthington Christian High School, OH. 6-foot-2, 180-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Starts in a tall quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was efficient, had a short simple swing plane and high finish. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 76 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.36. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-74 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2098; Avg 1993). Throws a 11/5 curveball (61-63) that has some action. (Max spin 1758; Avg 1727). His knuckleball shows deceiving action.
