James Haupt: OF/RHP, (2026) North Canton Hoover, OH. 6-foot-2, 200-pound. (67.5 mph bat speed average). (19.7 mph hand speed average). Begins in a tall stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is above average, has a level short swing plane and balanced low finish. Found lots of barrels in his rounds. Gap to gap approach. When throwing from the outfield, he showed off his strong arm with throws at velocities of 91 mph. Confident athletic on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a loose consistent arm action with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort. Showed tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 2255; Avg 2117).
James Haupt: RHP/OF, (2026) North Canton, OH. 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic build. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. Started in an athletic balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Had a short level swing plane and average bat speed. Capable from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 77 mph; had developing footwork, a lengthy developing exchange, and sure developing hands. Movements laterally were average and he fields the ball out front. Clocked a 60 time of 7.41 at the event. On the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a loose arm action with a high arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses high effort. Showed a strong balance point. Produced a fastball that came in at 79-81 mph. Has running action. (Max spin 2075; Avg 1979).
