Premier offensive tools for class. 6-1, uber projectable frame w/high end bat speed and strength combination. Ball flies off the barrel already and expects him only to add pop as he fills out. Slam dunk run producer profile. Another one of those Team Ohio guys you can move around the yard defensively. There's athleticism, ball skills and plenty of arm strength. Also is a high follow on the mound where he was in the mid to upper 70s w/aptitude for spin. An obvious follow in class.
SS/RHP, (2026) Anthony Wayne, OH. 6-foot-1, 172-pound. During batting practice, Potkanowicz had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. (62.4 mph bat speed average). (17.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a toe tap stride. Has quick bat speed, loose level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 73 mph; had a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.17.

Started in an open athletic stance with a controlled smooth load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is above average, exhibits a level swing plane and level finish. He barreled up multiple balls throughout the round. Line drive approach. Athletic while in the infield, made throws up to 69 mph; had athletic footwork, a clean quick exchange, and firm hands. Clocked a time of 7.58 in the 60-yard dash. Athletic on the mound, used a side arm angle and a long arm action while showing good arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. In line shoulders with an athletic balance point. an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 75-76 mph. Has late hard action. (Max spin 1800; Avg 1724). Threw a 11/5 curveball (60-62) with early deceiving action. (Max spin 1864; Avg 1809). His tight slider (66-70) shows tilt.
