Positional Profile: OF

Body: 6-foot, 195-Pound muscular and athletic frame.

Hit: RHH.  Starts with a slightly open stance and athletic posture.  Slow loads into the lower half with good weight transfer into the back knee with hands working back to shoulder height with slight arm-bar with front arm.  Strong upper body rotation with good overall bat speed.  Has some strength at contact.  Does a good job of getting on plane with the pitch by matching the lower half to the bat path.  Has home run power potential.

Power: 96 mph exit velocity off the tee and 91 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  OF-85 mph.  INF-75 mph.  Over the top arm slot with good hand speed and extension out in front at release.   In the infield the arm slot is a little lower and a shorter arm action.

Defense:  In the outfield works behind the ball well with rhythm into the crow hop.  Explosive crow hop technique with a shuffle step and the back leg driving through hard towards the target.  Fields the ball outside the glove side foot with good glove action.  In the infield works longer strides towards the ball with developing feel for glove action. 

Run: 7.04 runner in the 60.

Spencer Boles: OF/C, (2022) Choctaw, OK. 5-foot-11, 185-pound physical frame. At the plate, the switch hitter's 97 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Starts in an athletic stance with a arm bar load, then uses a controlled stride before his swing. Bat speed is explosive, displays short flat swing plane and high finish. Barreled up lots of balls with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. He was quick and efficient behind the plate, producing pop times of 1.97-2.22. In the outfield,  his best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 85 mph; has a lengthy exchange, sure hands and consistent feet. Capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 81 mph; had consistent footwork, a clean exchange and sure hands. He recorded a position velocity of 78 mph during throw downs; has quick feet, a fluid exchange and sure hands. Staggered setup with some flexibility. Used an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action. Recorded a time of 7.1 in the 60-yard dash.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound primary outfielder showcased a physical frame with present athleticism. The right-handed hitter begins from a square stance utilizing a controlled leg-lift to initiate his swing. Generated easy bat-speed with regularity using a strong lower-half and hand separation, creating a slightly uphill barrel path through the baseball. Displayed advanced barrel awareness yielding an impressive 94 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee. Recorded a 7.08 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder demonstrated advanced feel during defensive evaluations while arriving to the ball on time. Registered accurate 86 mph arm-strength from the outfield out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot with a long takeaway. The middle infielder flashed solid footwork while creating momentum towards his target allowing for an accurate 80 mph arm-strength across the diamond. 

9/08/19

A 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic and muscular fame with some strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works only from the stretch with a moderate leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action has moderate length in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 74-76 mph, some strikes. Changeup sits 68-70 mph, flashing excellent fade. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with rolling action.

A 5-foot-10, 170-pound solid frame; OF/2B. During batting practice, the switch hitter showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick to start his swing. Displays a flat swing plane and quick bat speed, and he ends his swing with a high finish and low effort. In BP, shows a gap-to-gap approach and showing pop to the pull side, leaving the yard once. Recorded an outfield position velocity of 86 mph;showed a fluid exchange, sure hands and quick footwork. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 76 mph across the field. Showing very consistent accuracy to the bases, he used an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action. He recorded a time of 7.5 in the 60-yard dash.

Showcased an advanced, physical 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame with noticeable strength. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate his swing. Stretch upon load and a fluid lower half allowed for barrel whip through a slightly uphill barrel path generating an 88 mph bat-exit velocity. Flashed advanced barrel awareness , peppering both gaps with regularity. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash, showing his comfortability in his frame. The primary outfielder displayed adequate footwork utilizing advantageous routes to play through the baseball with momentum. A strong lower half carried accurate 82 mph throws to the target out of a short and quick, high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway. The middle infielder showed a low center of gravity with range to both sides. Soft glove hand played through the ball with consistency while allowing for smooth transfers. Demonstrated accurate throws of 78 mph across the diamond.

5/29/18
A 5-foot-9, 150-pound lean and athletic frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a back leg heavy open and athletic set-up with rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate leg kick and an arm-bar load before launching his hands on an uphill path through extension with some bat speed. In BP, shows a pull approach with lift and advanced pull pop, mostly barrels, 86 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.38 60. Defensively, blocks the ball well behind the dish, an average receiver, shows athletic actions on his throw downs, 2.20-2.38 pop times, 72 mph velo. Also athletic enough to play an advanced infield and outfield. On the mound, the right-hander pitches from a slightly uptempo delivery with a high leg kick. Arm action is short in the back, coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sits 73-77 mph with arm side run, mostly strikes. Slows his arm on the changeup, 58-60 mph. Knuckleball has some dance 61-63 mph.
