2/5/17
Cincinnati recruit. 6-foot-2, 175-pound left-handed hitting shortstop; rangy athletic build with wiry strength, overall high level of projection in the frame. Offensively, he has loose, athletic hands, generates easy bat speed with a simple, repeatable swing and advanced pre-pitch rhythm while maintaining balance through contact. Easy line-drive approach with power potential as he physically matures; registered 89 mph exit velocity with wood. Athletically, he’s a fluid strider, ran a 6.78 laser-timed 60, looks like a trained track athlete in his movements. Natural athleticism shined defensively, showing excellent range and hands, capped by a highlight-reel sliding play up the middle in which he popped up and fired a strike to first base. Has all the requisite skills to stick at shortstop. Was clocked at 85 mph across the infield. Will be on scouts radar for the upcoming draft in June.

11.10.16

Athletic 6-foot-2, 175-pound shortstop, well proportioned frame to add strength. Confident actions defensively with plenty of arm strength across the diamond. Ability to make plays on the run, footwork and hands are advanced for age, body control and athleticism is evident. Above average runner with 60 time of 6.70, should become quicker as he matures, easy effort around the bags, will take extra base. Short stroke at the plate with bat speed, hands work well through the baseball, line drive guy currently with gap power, stays up the middle and the other way, once he learns to pull the baseball could be more pop, puts together quality at-bats and can keep up with good fastballs. Exciting player with high ceiling, Bremer has improved every year and we believe the trend is going to continue.

8.27.15
Bremner fits the profile of a shortstop with his lean 6-foot-2 frame at 160-pounds and smooth actions defensively. His hands are soft and clean while his transfer and release is quick and online. Real good feel for the diamond, strong awareness and footwork and positioning is a strong suit for him. He ran a 7.06 on the day and has seen big improvements in his speed as of late. At the plate, the left-handed hitter tends to drift and is off-balance at times of contact, making it tough for him to pull the ball and get out front. The tools and hands are there for him to hit, strength gains and minor adjustments will be key for him. A chance to stay up the middle for Bremner and continue to be a shortstop at the next level is there. Actions and makeup are the reason why he is a high ranked player in the class of 2017.

10.24.14
6-foot-1, 150-pound athletic frame with future strength gains remaining. Defensively, actions were impressive for a 2017 middle infielder. Hands were soft, fielded ball clean, a little gracefulness to his game in the field. Threw from a short ¾ slot that was 75 mph from the infield. Offensively, hits from even, upright stance. Small rock and leg kick to load, hands are loose with bat speed. Head will dip at times with one handed finish. Exit velocity was 84 mph, 40 time 5.32. Projects as gap guy with some power, athletic actions all around. Could be a guy with continued development and progression.

6-foot-1, 150-pound infielder with a projectable frame. Hits from the left side with a slightly open stance. Hands up in good position to hit. Loose easy hands at the plate, shows good bat speed. Defensively is smooth with fluid actions in the field. Agile, moves well with proper footwork. Arm works, easy out of hand, confident with the glove. Bremner is a high follow for Ontario 2017 class.
