Physical: Advanced, physical 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame with a feel for his body. 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, bent in the setup with the hands at the shoulder and barrel pointed upward to start. Utilized a leg-lift stride with slight backwards load into launch position. Showed present sink into the lower half while entering the hitting zone through a slightly uphill barrel path. Demonstrated some glide in the lower half at times, but nonetheless was on time with consistency and barreled the ball hard to the pull side during batting practice. Displayed feel for the hands with ability to work the middle of the field on pitches in any quadrant and the physicality stood out in the lower half with high intent during rotation. Showcased the ability to hit for extra bases during game action and projects to be a middle of the order bat at the next level down the line. Hit into a stiff front side while registering a 91 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The primary backstop is an advanced defender and works hard for his pitchers behind the dish on each pitch. Consistently beat the ball to the spot while receiving, getting around the ball and sticking it with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 1.94-2.00 with powerful straight line footwork out of the crouch coupled with a quick trigger out of a high ¾ arm-slot with quickness in the catch and throw. Showed off athleticism and effort behind the plate with ability to save free 90’s and deaden balls in the dirt; keeps the ball in front of him.

Showcased a physically advanced 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame with strength in his actions and athleticism in his movements. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a controlled leg-hang to initiate his swing. A calm setup allowed for quick hands to create barrel whip upon launch through a slightly uphill path in the hitting zone. Displayed quality barrel control during batting practice featuring a gap to gap approach with carry to the pull side gap. Recorded an 84 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. The primary backstop showed off advanced receiving skills with a rhythmic glove hand working into the zone on all sides of the plate. Pop times ranged from 1.95-2.03 on accurate throws of 77 mph from the crouch out of a quick, high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway. Demonstrated solid straight line footwork with powerful, repeatable steps towards the target yielding consistent throws on the bag and above-average arm-strength. Flashed soft walls on both sides of the plate while blocking with athleticism creating range to the glove and backhand side. Created downward chest angles towards the plate allowing for easy recovery, showing his ability to control the run game even further.

5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Showcased a short swing path with a line drive approach during BP with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Quiet receiver displayed quick feet, a short arm swing and clean transition with pop times of 2.18-2.26 on throws of 70 mph from the crouch. Solid all-around skill set should continue to develop through strength gains and physical maturity.

5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short, leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a solid feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash and showcased 2.20-2.30 pop times on throws of 70 mph from the crouch. Overall skill set will continue to develop through strength gains and physical development.
