11/7/15 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from a square stance with short stride, keeping his head and body quiet throughout his swing. Lays bat flat at launch, but barreled the baseball during his BP round with a peak exit velocity of 81-mph, mostly to the pullside. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash and recorded 75-mph arm strength.
2/14/15 Amey is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter that starts from a square stance. The sophomore utilizes a lift-and-replace stride and a strong lower half to create barrel whip and a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Amey flashed quick hands and good balance throughout his swing while squaring the baseball routinely. A 7.59 60-yard dash and 74 mph arm strength are items that Amey will need to continue to improve as he progresses towards the next level.

9/28/14 Amey went 1-for-3 in game action during Game One. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound sophomore only participated in game play, but has displayed a 78 mph arm from the outfield and a short swing path with a 79 mph bat exit velocity at previous events. Amey is athletic and has a frame that projects for additional size and strength moving forward.
6/25/14 Amey is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter that displayed very quick hands out of a square stance. He barreled the baseball routinely with no stride during batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Amey ran a 7.48 60-yard dash and showed athletic actions in the outfield with a 77 mph arm.
2/15/14 Amey is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect with a good deal of potential. The right-handed hitter has a quiet approach at the plate, hitting from a square stance with a high hands load. Amey made consistent hard contact during his round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 79 mph. The freshman registered a 4.35 home-to-1B time and showed athletic actions in the outfield with accurate throws of 78 mph to home plate.
11/2/13 Amey was one of the few freshmen in attendance. The 5-foot-10, 155-pound prospect showed athletic actions in the outfield with good straight line carry on throws of 75 mph. The right-handed hitter utilized a square stance and a high hands load to produce a bat exit velocity of 70 mph. He barreled the baseball consistently and displayed the ability to use all fields. Amey has an athletic frame and should continue to get stronger as his frame fills out.
