Petitt is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has strength present and some projection left to it. He hits from the right side from an open balanced athletic stance, strides on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing, some strength at contact and extension through the ball, has feel for the barrel, showed a pull approach with the ability to use the whole field, gap power to all fields, exit velocity was 91. In the outfield, gets behind the ball and fields through it aggressively with above average hands, works through ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 76. Ran a 6.85 60 yard dash.

5-foot-8, 150-pound compact athletic frame. Ran an impressive 6.77 60. Slightly open athletic stance and starts in a crouch. Simple stride in landing on line, hands make small load back in rhythm, and swing path has some uphill tilt and a high finish. Gets solid extension on contact and posted a 85 mph exit velocity. Active feet on approach in the outfield, clean exchange, and a longer arm action from a low three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 73 mph.
Diamondskills All-American Camp
Athletic makeup at 5-foot-8, 150-pounds. Showed some quickness with a 6.83 60. Stance starts open with some athletic posture. Simple toe tap to stride with same alignment as start. Hands in a strong position with a slight bat wrap. Gets on plane and was explosive through the zone with some aggression in the lower half at finish. Displayed the ability to hit for some power with pull side tendencies. Exit velo was 83 mph. Displayed active feet and a quick first step ranging side to side. Rhythm tap on exchange to a short quick arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot. In the outfield feet were active on approach and gained ground through the ball. Clean exchange to a short arm quick arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Positional velocity was 75 mph. Defensively looked more comfortable and fluid from the outfield.
