Preseason All-State I

Flicker is 5-11 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the left side from a tall balanced stance, low leg kick stride on line, loads back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, uphill line drive swing with strength at contact and extension through the ball, exit velocity of 89. In the infield, gets behind the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands, works through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 64. Ran a 4.59 home to first.

5-foot-11, 140-pound athletic frame with some projection left to it. Hits from the left side starting narrow and upright. Stance starts square, stride forward landing square, and finishes with a wider base. Hands load back to an arm bar and bat is wrapped. Gets on plane early, slight uphill tilt to the swing, and gains extension on contact. Exit velocity was 81 mph with a gap to gap approach. Active feet on approach, gets feet set into throw, and glove presents out front. Clean exchange, short arm action, and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 61 mph. Ran a 7.59 60.
