According to the Coach

As always, we expect to have a good season at Taylor County High School.  Coming off a 30 win season we only lost 2 seniors from last year's team.  For us to get better and advance in tournament play, we have to become a better offensive team.  Last year, we won 30 games on the strength of our pitching and team defense, despite having relatively low batting averages.  With better offensive to go along with our defense, we will be an even bigger threat and will have a better chance of going far in postseason play.  Even though pitching and overall team defense may be the strength of our team, we need the one guy who can throw the shutout type game in tournament play.
