2017 OUTLOOK
"Our expectation each year is to compete for championships in the state's toughest conference and section - the Lake and Section 2AAAA, respectively. We will be strong up the middle this year with returning starters at Catcher and Shortstop in Ryan Wrobleski and Zack Elliott, as well as with Connor Kehl at 2nd Base, who really emerged over the course of our American Legion season. Will Pahl should also provide some experienced stability at 3rd base. Aside from those young men, we have several others with some experience that will be competing for time in the outfield along with some new faces. Jack Zigan returns to lead our pitching staff; he has closed for us the last two years but will likely move in to a starting role this season. Connor Young and Torben Urdahl also return some experience on the mound, and the key to our success this season will likely depend on how successfully those two and other new faces round out our pitching staff." Head Coach John Buteyn
