Risers

No. 10 American Heritage (Plantation)

American Heritage has quietly moved up our rankings after back to back strong weeks. Led by potential first rounder Brandon Barriera, the Patriots went 3-0 in Week 4 beating Riverview, Calvary Christian Academy, and Miami Christian. They make their Top 10 debut this week at No. 10.

No. 13 Miami Springs

Miami Springs continues an impressive 2022 with wins over Archbishop Carroll and Prairie Grove (AK) in Week 4. The 9-1 Golden Hawks have looked the part on the mound with the additions of David Davila and Brandon Olivera to their staff. Miami Springs jumps to No. 13 this week.

Fallers

No. 20 Eau Gallie

The Commodores undefeated streak came to an end this week. They fell to No. 19 Windermere and Parish Community bringing their 2022 record to 7-2. Despite the two losses, Eau Gallie is getting big contributions on offense and should be able to get back into the top 15 soon.

No. 25 Bartram Trail

Bartram continues to play one of the toughest schedules in the state, but they’re going to need to start winning those tough games if they want to hold their spot in these rankings. They now sit 5-5 on the season after losses to No. 6 Berkeley Prep and Mosley this past week. It won’t get any easier as Bartram continues to have tough matchups coming up.

NR Strawberry Crest

Strawberry Crest falls out of the Power25 for the first time this year. With two losses this week, the Charges move to 7-4. They fell to Plant and No. 11 Jesuit. Strawberry Crest has been without 2023 Florida State commit Arjun Nimmala so far this season, and has not been able to make up for his absence.

Newcomers

No. 22 Sickles

Sickles has been very impressive so far in 2022. A fairly young team, the Gryphons have jumped to a 9-1 record in 2022. Week 4 featured a big win over No. 11 Jesuit and a deciding 10-3 win over Steinbrenner.

No. 23 Columbus

The 9-2 Explorers have quietly put together an impressive start to the 2022 season. Week 4 featured two big wins over ranked opponents with victories over No. 15 Mater Lakes Academy and No. 16 Westminster Christian. The Explorers continue to show they are one of the top programs in South Florida and will have a few more tough tests coming up.
