By year three of a college player's time on campus, or in many cases multiple campuses, he begins to settle in and get a feel for what his future in the game may hold. For many the reality is that life after college will not involve playing the game for money. For the select few, year three is often pivotal.

Pennsylvania's Class of 2016 has reached that point in their careers where visions of professional baseball are becoming attainable. For the top four on the list, professional baseball has been part of their daily routines for the past three summers.

Today we take a look at the baseball careers of those in the top 10 spots in the final Pennsylvania Class of 2016 rankings since their departure from high school.

Alex Kirilloff OF / 1B / Plum , PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 6 / POS: 1 HS Draft 100Rank: 13 / POS: 3 + Kirilloff was a 1st round draft pick in the 2016 MLB Draft and was name the Minor League Player of the Year in the Minnesota Twins organization for 2018. + Recent Article: CLICK HERE

Nolan Jones SS / RHP / Holy Ghost Prep, PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 2 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 5 / POS: 1 HS Draft 100Rank: 12 / POS: 2 + Jones was a 2nd round selection of the Cleveland Indians in the 2016 MLB Draft. He has compiled a .289 average over the course of his first three seasons of pro ball while hitting 23 home runs and driving in 108. Jones has also compiled an impressive .410 on base percentage. Max Kranick RHP / SS / Valley View, PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 3 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 33 / POS: 10 HS Draft 100Rank: 60 / POS: 18 + Kranick was selected in the 11th round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has gone 6-7 with a 2.99 ERA over his first three season of professional baseball. A.J. Alexy RHP / 3B / Twin Valley, PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 4 / POS: 2 OverallRank: 157 / POS: 60 + Alexy was an 11th round selection of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2016 MLB Draft. The 6-foot-4, 217-pound righty has gone 10-15 with a 3.63 ERA over his first three seasons of professional baseball. Isaiah Kearns 3B / RHP / Mifflin County, PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 5 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 121 / POS: 8 + A two-way player at the college level, Kearns has seen the bulk of his time on the mound where he has compiled an 8-4 record with 97 strikeouts in 93.2 innings of work for the West Virginia Mountaineers. + College Bio: CLICK HERE

Jake Jessell C / RHP / Woodland Hills , PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 6 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 153 / POS: 13 + Jessell played one year of college baseball at Patrick Henry CC where he hit .296 with 10 home runs and 41 RBI. + College Bio: CLICK HERE

Dante Biasi LHP / 1B / Hazleton Area, PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 7 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 165 / POS: 31 + Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 22nd round of the 2016 MLB Draft. Carter Cross RHP / OF / Cathedral Prep, PA / 2016 Rankings  StateRank: 8 / POS: 3 OverallRank: 247 / POS: 97 + Redshirted during his first year at Nebraska.
