Commitment Spotlight: Isaiah Jackson
December 2, 2020
Today, We had the pleasure of catching up with 2022 OF Isaiah Jackson of Cienega High School to ask him a few questions about his college recruiting experience.
+ 2022 OF Isaiah Jackson (Cienega)- really started to gain traction this summer after performances at the 2022 Top Prospect Games and competing as a member of Team Arizona at the PBR Future Games. Jackson sports a long athletic body with above average strength & athleticism. His carrying tool in the future should be his left-handed bat that has shown real power potential over the course of the last 8 months. At both events he did with PBR this summer, he showed natural juice, hitting several ball over the RF fence with a relaxed pull-approach. He looks to drive the ball in the air while getting on plane early. Throughout our live game coverage, he shows even more ability to hit using both gaps. More power should come in the future from his advanced bat & hand speed combined with the ability to accelerate quickly. Defensively, he plays a solid CF in HS but will likely move to a corner in the future. His long frame and wingspan combined with solid jumps & footwork make up for some lack in speed. His arm should continue to improve the next two years.
