Each week throughout the high school season the staff at PBR will compile some of the top performances from across the state of North Carolina for Diamond Notes.  Many of these players have been considered for the PBR Player of the Week, but only one can win the award.  Diamond Notes allows the staff at PBR to recognize players that have played at a high level.

High school coaches, pro scouts, college coaches, and PBR's scouting staff are able to turn players in for recognition.  Each player is highlighted with notes from the last week, and from the entire season where warranted.

Cam Jackson, Centerfield, DH Conley, 2019

• PBR Player of the Week: April 8 – 14

• Hit .727 in 11 at-bats vs. New Bern, JH Rose, and CB Aycock in a 2-1 week for DH Conley
• 3 Home Runs, 3 Doubles, 7 Runs, 4 RBI on the week
• Slugging Percentage of 1.818 on the week
• For the year, hitting .535 with 9 doubles, 5 home runs, and 20 RBI

Jason Montague, OF, Southern Nash High School, 2019

• NC Wesleyan commit
• Led Southern Nash to a 2-1 week in conference play in the Big East
• Hit .500 in 12 at-bats with 2 home runs, a double, 9 RBIs, and 4 runs
• Also drew 3 walks
• Slugging percentage of 1.083 and an on-base of .600 for the week
• Now has 5 Home Runs for the year

Aaron Williams 2020 Davie County HS Catcher

• Hit .556 with 3 doubles and 6 RBI in a 1-1 week for Davie
• For the year, hit .417 with a .455 OBP, and 20 RBIs

Tucker Batten, 1B/OF/ RHP, North Johnston, 2019

• In a double header with Farmville Central, went 8-8 hitting 1.000 for the week
• 3 Home Runs, 1 a Grand Slam, and a double in the 2 games
• 10 RBIs on the night
• 1 IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
• Hitting .509 for the year with 3 HR, 5 Doubles, and 20 Runs Scored.  Also has thrown 9 innings, earning 2 wins, with a 0.75 ERA and 15 strike outs.

Matt Rivers, SS, East Forsyth, 2019

• Gardner-Webb commit
• Hit .500 in 6 at-bats
• HR and 5 RBI
• HR was a walk-off to defeat Davie County

Lelon Stotesberry, CF, Bear Grass Charter, 2019 

• 8-11, 3 doubles, 7 runs, and 10 RBIs
• Added 8 stolen bases on the week
• Added in several highlight reel defensive plays

Noah Hall, RHP, Providence HS, 2019

• Win in conference matchup with Ardrey Kell HS
• Worked into the 6^th, 3H, 1 earned run
• Struckout 11
