Scouting Report
One of the top players in the 2020 class in the state of Alabama. Physically gifted at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, the Bob Jones High School sophomore has had a banner year offensively, indicated by his numbers. He currently has a .403 BA, .487 OB% with 10 HR's, 2 3B's, 7 2B's, and 51 RBI's to go along with 11 SB's.
The University of Alabama commit has made his mark as a two way guy on the mound in the past but has been very limited (only thrown 3 2/3 innings on the year) this year due to a UCL sprain. Plans are for Dylan to return to the top of the Patriots' rotation in 2019 where he will show a fastball that will reach the low 90's.
Described as "a special player blessed with tremendous size and work ethic who has a chance to be a draft pick in a few years", Dylan and his teammates are preparing to host Oak Mountain High School this weekend in the 7A state playoffs.
