Final PBR Pennsylvania Class of 2012 Player Rankings Released

The final PBR Class of 2012 player rankings for Pennsylvania have been released and Joe DeCarlo is the No. 1 ranked player in this year’s graduating class. Joe is a hard nosed infielder who can play 3B and SS. The Georgia commit was named a 3rd Team Rawlings All-American for 2012. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound DeCarlo was drafted 64th overall by the Seattle Mariners in the 2nd round in the 2012 MLB Draft.

Close behind in the No. 2 spot is Jake Drossner. Jake is a 6-foot-3, 195 lefty who has touched 91.  He has excellent control and plenty of room to fill out. The University of Maryland commit possesses a hard curve ball with downward action. Drossner culminated his high school career by being drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 23rd round of the MLB Draft.

Largely based on a late season injury, Karl Keglovits dropped from No. 1 to No. 3 in the final player rankings. Karl is a 6-foot-5, 220-pound RHP who touches 92.  He throws downhill and has good feel for his curveball and changeup. The Nazareth Area senior is committed to North Carolina State.
