Game Recap:
Marvin Ridge third baseman Anthony Gonzalez hit a two-run single in the bottom of the first, and that was all the Mavs would need to take down Parkwood on Wednesday. Kyle McKernan tossed a complete-game shutout while racking up 11 strikeouts. Andrei Beal took the hard-luck loss after throwing a complete game of his own, allowing just three runs on five hits while striking out a handful of Mavs.  

After the dramatic win by Parkwood on Tuesday, the series is now tied 1-1 headed into Game 3.  Game 3 is scheduled for Friday.
