West Forsyth HS RHP Connor Monroe recently made his decision to attend North Carolina State University after his high school career comes to an end. The 2020 graduate is only the fifth player in the class to commit, and the second to the Wolfpack.
PBR got a glimpse at the talented right hander this past spring. See what Coach Avent and the Wolfpack added to their future arsenal.

Scouting Report
04.14.17
Athletic build with a long frame. Strength in the legs and core. Loose hips. Over-the-top slot with rhythm in a strong arm swing and front side. Fastball peaked at 88, sitting 84-86. Hard slider, with tilt at 76. Change flashed fade, getting swing and miss from left-handed hitters, ranging 74-76. Command waivered at times with all three, showing periods of dialing into the zone. When fastball sat in the zone, offspeed was there as well. Athletic in-line delivery that created early uphill torque in the shoulders. Front side works to create downhill leverage allowing pitches to change plane when on time. Competes with some animation at times. Pitches with emotion.
