NORCAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - With HS baseball well underway all across NorCal we have been privy to several standout performances in the early goings of the season. Because of the amount of standout performances around the region choosing one player for the weekly honor was quite difficult.  

Congratulations are in order for Senior Tyler Allen out of Whitney HS as he has been awarded the NorCal Player of the Week for the week of March 27th - April 1st, 2023.

The Uncommitted OF/MIF had a huge offensive week for the Wildcats going 9-for-11 on the week where they swept Granite Bay in their league series. Of those 9 hits included a HR, double, and triple. He also had 6 RBI, 5 runs, 2 walks, and 3 SBs. Allen was a standout at our California State Games event last summer (video below). He uses a simple/balanced swing with some sneaky bat/hand speed that allows him to consistently impact the baseball. On the spring so far he has hit a LOUD .579 which puts him amongst the top of performers this spring especially among uncommitted seniors. Whitney also currently sits at 10-1 this spring #6 in the PBR CA POWER 25.
