No. 10 Thomas Johnson ran away with yesterday afternoon's out-of-conference matchup against the home Winters Mill Falcons. After two quick outs in the top of the first, Jacob Orr (Maryland) walked and later scored on the second wild pitch of the inning to take an early 1-0 lead. After holding the Falcons scoreless in the bottom half, Thomas Johnson's offense exploded for six runs in the second, four runs in the third, 3 runs in the fourth, and two more runs in the fifth. Every Patriot starter finished the game with at least one hit with AJ Enriquez (3-for-4), Justin Bolden (2-for-2), and Matt Fowkes (2-for-4) each collecting multiple hits. Orr led the offense with four RBI's and three runs scored, while Fowkes and Colin Bitler each added two RBI's.

Enriquez got the call on the mound for the Patriots and earned the win with a 74 pitch - 5 inning complete game performance. The uncommitted 2020 OF/RHP cruised through the first three innings before getting touched up for a couple in the 4th inning. Winters Mill managed just three hits off Enriquez, who struck out four Falcons batters in the ballgame. Alex Barnes had two of the three hits for Winters Mill.

What's Next: Winters Mill (0-2) will look to get its first win on Friday at Catonsville while No. 10 Thomas Johnson (2-0) travels to Manchester Valley on Friday going for the week one sweep.
