Scouting Report
6/6/17
On the mound the right-hander has fluidity to a delivery that he is able to repeat. Greer flashed a live arm while working through a high-¾ slot. Fastball jumps out of his hand sitting 85-88 mph. The pitch was heavy with some late run to it at times. Spun the best breaking ball of the day. The pitch has big, late break on a near 12/6 plane at 72-75 mph. The combination of depth and sharpness make it a legitimate swing and miss pitch right now.
6/6/16
6-foot-2, 180-pound athletic, projectable frame. On the mound he creates good direction through a straight up and down leg lift. Has long arm action with definite quickness to it. Fastball works downhill at 82-85 mph. Curveball has some sharpness with an 11/5 shape at 67-70 mph. Has good feel for the pitch.
