Oklahoma Future Games Roster: Pitchers

Scott Hood
OK/MO/KS/ARK Assistant Scouting Director

Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma is proud to announce this year's crop of arms at the Future Games this week at Lakepoint in Georgia.  With a diverse mix of 2024's and a few 2025's, this year's group features arms from all over the State that will look to compete in front of a large gathering of collegiate scouts.  Be sure to follow along on social media all week for updates on the performances at this year's Future Games.

Kash Ferris RHP / OF / Carl Albert, OK / 2024

The physical right-hander has caught some steam this summer after a strong showing at the Upperclass Games where his fastball worked into the upper 80's and showed big time slider action with solid spin rates.  At 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, Ferris has a chance to one of the premiere arms in the State for the 2024 class in Oklahoma.

Eli Ramirez SS / RHP / Duncan, OK / 2025

Don't let the small frame fool you when you watch Eli on the mound.  The 2025 right-hander has shown the ability to work the fastball into the upper 80's with a ton of arm side run and sink.  With one of the quicker arms on the OK Future Games roster look for Ramirez to be a guy to keep an eye on.  Will also take part in the workout portion of the event on Wednesday with some advanced position player skills.

Coby Bell RHP / 1B / Red Oak, OK / 2024

Bell uses his durable frame to pound the strike zone with his bowling ball type sinker that has been up to 89 mph in the past.  Bell has pitched in big games throughout his career including closing out this Spring's Class A State Championship game where the fastball worked 87-89 along with a sharp breaking ball.

Conner Johnson RHP / SS / Salina, OK / 2024

Johnson jumped onto the scene as a freshman at Salina with a solid delivery and good feel for spin.  Fast-forward a year later and the velocity has started to make a jump into the upper 80's and is mixing both an advanced slider and curveball into his arsenal.  Projectable build that will only continue to get stronger, look for Johnson to have a chance at a breakout performance later this week.

Declan Murphy 3B / RHP / Carl Albert, OK / 2025

The freshman right-hander joins the roster as a mid 80's sinker/slider guy that has shown the ability to pound the zone in game.  The fastball can be tough to barrel with the amount of arm side run and he has one of the best sliders in the class with true feel for spin and shape.  Murphy will also take part in the workout day on the position player side where he shows some promise at the hot corner.

Kaden Felan RHP / OF / Blanchard , OK / 2024

Felan has had a breakout summer missing barrels using his mid to upper 80's fastball and feel for a true three pitch mix.  Felan has an athletic delivery and a very quick arm which should see the velocity continue to rise as he gets stronger.

Pryce Bender SS / RHP / Edmond North, OK / 2024

Bender is a two-way prospect that will be getting two innings on the mound later this week as well as playing in the infield.  The fastball has really started to make some jumps in the past couple of months working in to the low 90's at last month's Oklahoma State Games.

Kayden Campbell LHP / OF / Charles Page, OK / 2024

Campbell continues to make jumps each time we see him as the left-hander will work the fastball in the mid 80's and compliment that with a solid curveball with big depth and shape.  Campbell has been steadily increasing velocity over the past couple of years and has shown the ability to pitch well in big games.

Eli Buxton RHP / 1B / Charles Page, OK / 2024

Buxton is one of the more projectable arms in Oklahoma at 6-foot-6 and a lean 165 pounds.  Buxton shows the ability to shape two different breaking balls and when the fastball is tilting downhill can be very tough for opposing hitters to handle.

Tanner Primeaux 1B / LHP / Jenks , OK / 2024

Primeaux is another two-way prospect playing on both sides of the ball this week at the Future Games.  Long been known as a run-producing first baseman, the 6-foot-6 and 225 pound left-hander can also work the fastball up to 88 mph and with his size and strength it would be easy to see that number climb rather quickly.

Cale Sudderth 1B / OF / Lone Grove , OK / 2024

Another two-way prospect working on both sides of the ball this week, Sudderth has shown the ability in the past to drive the fastball into the mid 80's as well as show good shape on the curveball at 73 mph.  One of the better overall athletes on this year's roster, Sudderth will put that athleticism on display both on the mound and in the infield and outfield as well.
