PBR Kentucky Player of The Week: Beechwwod 2023 OF Cameron Boyd

Chris Fuller
Ky Executive Director

boydThe week of April 16-22 produced several nominees for our Player of The Week award, but as we combed through the players submitted, one player's stats stood out, and that player has earned this week's honor.

Uncommitted senior Cameron Boyd, in leading Beechwood to four wins last week, hit nearly everything thrown his way, much like he has all season. Boyd's stats for the week are below:

12-for-19, 3-2B, 2-HR, 9 RBI, 9 R.

For the season, the uncommitted senior's stat lines look like this.

.548 BA (40-for-73), 10-2B, 2-3B, 8-HR, 36 RBI, 32 R, 17-for-17 SB.

With the 15 home runs he hit last season, Boyd has hit 23 since the beginning of his junior year. Couple that with his 6.6 sixty-yard dash speed, and Boyd shows a rare power/speed combination not often seen at the high school level.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Beechwood senior Cameron Boyd has been selected as the PBR Kentucky Player of The Week for April 10-15.
