PBR Ontario Spotlight Game: Hamilton vs Ottawa

Iroquois Park – The Hamilton Cardinals and Ottawa Chiefs squared off in the first round of the EBLO 15u Showcase Tournament. The Cardinals used a late flurish to put away Ottawa 10-1.

The Cardinals jumped out to a 1-0 early lead with a sac fly and a RBI from Brandon Deans scoring Dason Brown from third base.

The Cardinals put two more runs on the board in the second inning, coming from a single by Seth Cabezas and a sac fly from Jack Iannuzzi.

Starter Luca Ramelli tossed a gem in his 4 innings of work allowing only one run on five scattered hits.

The Chiefs answered back in the fourth as Nick Doiron scored from third on an infield single by Stephen Swim.

The Cardinals cracked open the score with four runs in the sixth and three more runs in the seventh.
