PBR Scout Day: Carolina Vipers - Statistical Results

Saturday January 14th saw PBR head to the Athletic Barn in Waxhaw, NC, home of the Carolina Vipers. The Vipers run a number of club teams at varying age levels, competing at a high level with most of their rosters made up of players from the greater Charlotte area. Taking part in a PBR Scout Day, the Vipers offered their players a chance to run through a pro-style workout. Each player received an updated PBR profile page with updated verified stats, video, and a scouting report. Below is a brief look at some of the statistical information from the event. More information will be posted throughout the week, with future events being announced as well.
STATISTICAL HIGHLIGHTS
+ 24 Viper Players took part in the Scout Day
+ Players ranged in age from 2018-2020 graduates
+ 11 players ran a 30 yard sprint in under 4.20
+ 3 infield arms tested above 80mph, with 14 infielders participating
+ 2 of the 3 outfield participants showed arm strength at 78mph
+ 8 hitters flashed exit velocities of better than 85mph
+ 5 pitchers touched better than 78mph.
