On Wednesday, all position players will be put through a showcase workout in which they will run 60s, take batting practice and be evaluated at their primary position. Each state team will play three games beginning on Thursday.

Scouting Report

Thin, highly projectable 6-foot-3, 150-pound right-handed pitcher with long limbs and plenty of room for continued physical development. Loose, easy arm action from high-3/4 slot; works downhill well. Fastball ranged between 80-83, topping at 84 in his start vs. Virginia Stars. Slurve ranged between 69-72 with varying shape, inconsistent strikes with pitch. Also flashed 75 mph changeup occasionally. Competed well on mound for freshman; should continue to add velocity as he physically develops and grows into his frame. High-follow prospect.
