TEAM STRENGTHS:
Huntingtown has seven returning starters which bodes very well for a team coming off a 15 win campaign in 2014.  That experience should lead to the Hurricanes starting off on the right foot from the start of the season.  The entire pitching staff returns as well and with another year of experience and maturity under their belt, should equate to plenty of low scoring games.

QUESTION MARK:
One variable that can separate the good from the great programs are their ability to win tough games on the road in tough environments. You see it at every level in every sport, the ability to win on the road.  This is an area that Huntingtown needs to show more consistency at for the2015 season.  Their experience should help to that.

WILDCARD:
Danny Goucher is a player for Huntingtown that could have a breakout year for the Hurricanes.  The junior first-baseman was overshadowed last year with a senior heavy class and had a lot of hits in big game situations for the team.  This year he looks to be a player that could be a big contributor for 2015 season.
Matt Schug is a senior shortstop coming off a broken leg during the football season. The Hurricanes hope that his recovery is full and he can continue to be one of the leaders on the team from the lead-off spot in the order.

OVERALL:
With the experience returning and coming off a strong 2014, Huntingtown is heading into a year with high expectations. Expect this season to be a strong one as the team looks to go deep into the 3A state playoffs.
