The NCAA signing period is slated to start on November 13th. With the start of the signing period upon us, we look to break down of host of Division 1 commitments for out of state commits, where they are headed and what tools they will bring with them.

Coastal Carolina

Matthew Joyce RHP / SS / St Sebastians, MA / 2020

Report: A small, quick armed right-hander, fastball sits in the upper 80's and he shows a great feel for the secondary stuff. Has done nothing but win in his high school baseball career.

Fordham University

Nolan Hughes LHP / Silver Lake, MA / 2020

Report: Long and lean left-hander, who projects well and shows polished stuff in the present. The fastball sits mid to upper 80's and he shows a good feel for the secondary pitches. Should contribute immediately in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Delaware

Daniel Trzepacz 1B / LHP / Souhegan Coop, NH / 2020

Report: Left-handed hitting first baseman who could kick to the outfield if need be. The bat is the separator as he can handle the barrel. Should hit a bunch of homeruns at Delaware's park, as it is a launching pad.

Kansas State

Luke Beckstein SS / 3B / Groton, MA / 2020

Report: A versatile right-handed hitting middle infielder. The feel for the game is through the roof as the excels at most aspects of his game. Look for him to contribute early in his career in the Big 12.

Pittsburgh

Jackson Phinney C / OF / Noble and Greenough, MA / 2020

Report: Physical right-handed hitting catcher who has an advanced skill set. The receiving is polished and he shows plenty of arm strength. The bat has power and life to it. Should contribute to Pittsburgh's team immediately.

Purdue

Andrew Eppinger OF / 3B / Saint Johns, MA / 2020

Report: Physical right-handed hitting outfielder, profiles as a corner outfielder at the next level. The bat has good life to it and he is a slightly above average runner. Solid feel for the game and the instincts are good on the bases

Monmouth

Frankie Hernandez Jr. OF / 1B / Saint Peter - Marian Central Catholic, MA / 2020

Report: Left-handed hitting first baseman and outfielder, he is solid in both spots. The tool is the bat as he can swing the bat, and shows power potential to the pull side. Should fit in nicely at Monmouth.

Maryland

Nigel Belgrave RHP / 3B / Auburn, MA / 2020

Report: Tall and lean right-hander who blossomed at the Future Games, touching 90 with a solid spin pitch. Should fill out nicely and become a solid pro prospect in college.

Ryan Murphy LHP / Billerica, MA / 2020

Report: Left-handed pitcher with good leverage and a very good arm. The feel for pitching has to improve but the talent is evident.

Matthew Shaw SS / OF / Worcester Academy, MA / 2020

Report: Athletic right-handed hitting middle infielder, who can also kick to the outfield. The bat is special and he plays the game extremely hard

North Carolina

Harold Coll SS / Hyde Park, MA / 2020

Report: Quick and athletic right-handed hitting middle infielder. The feel for the glove is outstanding and the bat has improved immensely in the last year. Should play immediately at UNC.

Vanderbilt

Hunter Owen LHP / South Portland, ME / 2020

Report: Tall and athletic left-hander who pitches in the upper 80's with a plus spin pitch. The leverage is outstanding and he competes. Should fit in nicely at Vanderbilt.

Wake Forest

James Broderick SS / 2B / Lawrence Academy, MA / 2020

Report: Left-handed hitting middle infielder. The bat has good life to it and he has feel for using the whole field. Can play multiple spots in the infield.

Myles McDermott RHP / Archbishop Williams, MA / 2020

Report: Big and athletic right-handed pitcher who pitches in the low 90's. The arm is legit and the stuff is real. Should compete for innings as a freshman

Virginia Commonwealth

Connor Husjak, RHP, Goffstown, 2020
Report: 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sits in the upper 80's and he shows a good spin pitch. The frame projects to fill out nicely as he should pitch early in his career at VCU.

Georgia Tech

Jake DeLeo OF / C / Avon Old Farms, CT / 2020

Report: A right-handed hitter, pull pop, serious speed, legit 6.6 runner. The arm will play in all three spots in OF, look for him to play right away, potential to be a draft pick this spring, played extremely well in Area Code Games.

Duke

Nicholas Conte RHP / SS / North Providence, RI / 2020

Report: A right-handed pitcher, arm is super live, fastball up to 95 mph, sits in the low 90’s with a plus slider. Chance to be a legit, backend guy, potential to a draft pick this spring.

Lafayette

Luke Benneche OF / RHP / Simsbury, CT / 2020

Report: A physical right-handed hitter, plus power to all fields, moves well for a bigger player. Right-field arm, good carry and flight. Should contribute right away, bullpen arm for midweek games.

Georgetown

Michael Thomas Morrissey RHP / OF / Portsmouth, RI / 2020

Report: A right-handed pitcher, longer lean, athletic frame. The arm is projectable, upper 80’s  fastball, with a hard hook. Look for him to compete for innings quickly.

Joe Henry RHP / 1B / Brunswick, CT / 2020

Report: A big bodied right-handed pitcher, upper 80’s fastball, with a power curve ball at times. The arm is live with electric stuff, command will need to improve at the next level.

Pennsylvania

Drew Rogers 3B / 2B / Taft School, CT / 2020

Report: A lean, long fast twitch athlete. Legs and the bat are the top tool, chance to be an extra base machine. Defensively, brings a ton of value, can play all over the field. Shows to have average hands and arm at the college level.

Fairleigh Dickinson

Ethan Rembish RHP / SS / St. Paul Catholic, CT / 2020

Report: A right-handed pitcher, smaller, wiry-thin frame, pounds the zone with a two pitch mix, fatball is 85-87 mph. The breaking pitch is above average, spin is tight with depth. Look for hum to compete for innings right away.

Wofford

Gunnar Johnson C / 2B / Newington, CT / 2020

Report: A right-handed hitting catcher, plus feel behind the plate, solid hands, quick transfer into release. Solid catch and throw guy, with an in game pop time of 2.0. Brings value, being able to play in the outfield as well. Offensively, line drive approach, can handle the bat, average to a tick above with his legs.

Rider

David Marchetti OF / C / LaSalle Academy, RI / 2020

Report: A toolsy, type player, long, lean frame. Runs above average, 6.8 runner, throws above average, upper 80’s arm. The bat has life, gap to gap approach, still raw with the stick, will need time to develop, a chance to be a guy down the road.
