2017 TEAM PREVIEW: Kokomo Wildkats

Outlook:  The Wildkats bring back arguably the best junior class in the state.  Led by No. 1 ranked Jack Perkins, a Louisville commit, this experienced group has a chance to make a run if it can stay healthy and perform as expected.  South Carolina commit, Bayden Root, is back at Kokomo this year to help both on the mound and in the middle of the order.  Another top prospect in 2018 class, Kyle Wade, an uncommitted two-way player, is expected to play a big role again this season.  Coach Swan sees he the talent coming back this year, but knows they need to take care of the little things and perform on the field to contend for conference title and make a playoff run.  The sectional and regional will both be very difficult with other top ranked teams in the area including Carmel, Fishers, Carroll, and Lafayette Jeff.
