2017 TEAM PREVIEW: 4A New Albany Bulldogs

2016 Record: 25-8
Conference (2016 Record):  Hoosier Hills Conference (2-1)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/2

2017 Team Strengths:

Top Returning Players:

• Chase Rudy, OF/RHP, 2018: .400BA 32RBI 3-1 60K (right)
• Ryan Robison, 1B/LHP, 2018: .302BA 18RBI 2HR 1.57ERA
• Jacob Mullins, OF, 2017: .292BA 4HR
• Logan Chabonneau, RHP, 2017: 2-1 2.39ERA 

Outlook:  The Bulldogs lost a decent amount of talent after a 25-8 record in 2016. Returning starters include Purdue commit, Chase Rudy, who has been up to 89 on the mound and also hit .400 for the Bulldogs last year.  New Albany will have to deal with a competitive schedule once again, but this should give their young players experience to be ready for post-season baseball.
