Top 20 PBR OK News Stories of 2017: #14-#10

As 2017 comes to a close, PBR Oklahoma will recap the top 20 most read news articles at the state level. We are able to drill down into the data and track the number of reads thanks to Google analytics.

Today, we take a look at most read articles #14-#10. They include two rankings releases, two showcase instant analysis, and a most viewed profile article.

Oklahoma 2017 Class Rankings Update- Published on Thursday, March 9th, the 2017 rankings drew a lot of attention not only by readers in the state but nationally due to the class being talented in deep. Eventually, we would see five players taken in the draft.

Initial Oklahoma 2017 Class Rankings- Published on Thursday, January 19th, the Initial OK 2017 Class Rankings were the first rankings ever put out by PBR OK. Like every ranking since, it was very widely read.

Sandlot Showcase Upgrade: Instant Analysis-  Published on Thursday, May 25th, the Sandlot Showcase Upgrade was another first for PBR OK as we brought discounted full profiles and coverage to any Sandlot player that opted for it. It was a huge success and got attention from colleges at every level.

OK Most Viewed Profiles of February-  Published on Thursday, March 2nd, the most viewed profiles of February came after the scrimmages were over and the regular season was about to start. Oklahoma baseball was buzzing and every article came out about this time got tons of reads.

OK Summer Underclass Games: Instant Analysis- Published on Friday, June 2nd, it is no surprise to see the instant analysis of the OK Summer Underclass Games was in the top 10 after the pre event roster and schedule created enough buzz on its own to be in the top 20. This event was full of talent in the classes that top colleges are recruiting the hardest at one of the most heavily recruited times of the year.
