TOP Exit Velos FROM THIS SUMMER
This summer, PBR Ohio rolled out our initial trial with the Rapsodo 2.0 units.
Players that elected to become a part of the Rapsodo system were able to view their results from summer events.
The Rapsodo Hitting Unit 2.0 provides instant data for exit velocity, launch angle, direction, spin axis and more. This summer, the PBR Ohio staff utilized this technology during batting practice sessions.
2019 MLB Numbers - Exit Velocity

As we all know, baseball has always been a numbers game and with the rise of pitching velocity, home runs and strikeouts, many other numbers have been created to help scouts, front office executives and managers create advantages on the baseball diamond.
Two metrics that help measure different aspects of baseball are exit velocity and spin rate. In this article we are going to be talking about exit velocity, to read about spin rates, click here.
The highest exit velocity of 2019 was Giancarlo Stanton on March 8th, with an exit velo of 120.6 mph. The were nine instances where a guy had 118+ exit velocity with those names being Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 3x, Giancarlo Stanton 2x, Gary Sanchez, Pete Alonso, Aristides Aquino and Aaron Judge.
